School of Postgraduate Studies and Research

The School of Postgraduate Studies and Research (SPSR) is the new wing that joined in SLTC to foster postgraduate education and research in the university. We plan to offer research oriented training at postgraduate level to offer a unique experience for our graduate students. Producing original research is a substantial factor of our graduate studies programs.

The School of Graduate Studies oversees graduate admissions, fellowships, grants, academic employment, mentoring activities, professional development, academic progress, and degree milestones. In addition, SPSR works in collaboration with the Office for Research and Innovation Services (ORIS) to train all research assistants and lecturers in their respective research program.

We are in the process of offering the following degree program at the beginning:

  • M. Phil in all areas of SLTC (by research)
  • Executive MBA
  • Masters in Tech. Electronics and Communications Engineering
  • Master in Tech. Civil Engineering (Construction Technology)
  • Ph. D. program (New Lisbon, Portugal and Tomsk Polytechnic University, Russia)

Using a cotutelle agreement with University of the New Lisbon (UNL), Portugal and the Tomsk Polytechnic University in Russia, SLTC will launch its first split PhD program in this Sept 2019. This helps doctoral students enjoy joint supervision from SLTC and UNL.

This school will also assist SLTC in establishing international research and academic collaboration with international universities such as the University of Edinburgh, UNL, Portugal and L’Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS), Canada etc.

We produce groundbreaking research oriented postgraduates in novel areas of Engineering, Computer Science and Business. Producing original research is a substantial factor of our graduate studies programs.
